Raw Blackberry Honey

Regular price Sale price $ 13.49

Our Blackberry honey is a medium amber colored honey with a taste that is mild, sweet and has a slight (you guessed it) blackberry finish. It pairs well with just about all foods and is especially good drizzled over vanilla ice cream. We are fortunate to have bee yards placed adjacent to both cultivated and wild blackberry fields. Blooming in spring and then bearing fruit in early summer, the common blackberry bush is a member of the rose family of plants, which includes over 2,000 species of trees, shrubs and herbs. So why does this matter? Because blackberry flower nectar produces a remarkable raw honey that is difficult to pass up once tried!

OUR HIVES ARE: Located on North Carolina farms and forested areas that are not treated with pesticides and provide an abundance of biodiverse, natural resources. We don't chemically treat our hives due to our sustainable beekeeping practices and the hardiness of the Russian honeybee.
