The Little Flower Soap Co. & Crafted Honey Collaboration

The Little Flower Soap Co.     Crafted Honey Co. | craftedhoney.com

Since opening the doors to our e-commerce website in May of this year, we've had the good fortune of meeting some remarkable small business owners who have blown us away. The spinning marble hurdling through universe we call home (earth!) is filled with talented people. People, who among all things remarkable, make some really cool stuff that in turn, make this life tastier, more fragrant, more sustainable and more enjoyable.

When thinking of these creative types, and looking at the products they sell or the services they provide, we're often left in awe of what they have accomplished, their creativity and their passion for their business. And when we come across individuals or companies like this, we keep an increasingly long list of "potential collaborations".

One of the incredibly rewarding things about running a small business is the ability to reach out to brands you admire and see if they'd be open to collaboration. It takes a village, after all. Of course there are certain qualifiers that need to be in place before doing so – prerequisites such as a quality-over-quantity approach, a focus on sustainability, and remarkable end products.

Not that long ago, we reached out to one of those such businesses - The Little Flower Soap Co. Having admired them from afar, we were hopeful they'd be receptive to our inquiry. To our delight and after a bit of back-and-forth, a collaboration between our two companies has resulted in one of our newest products – an SPF Tulip Poplar Honey Lip Balm made with our raw honey.

While our collaboration has resulted in only one product initially (Tulip Poplar Honey Lip Balm) we have future collaborations in mind. However, we like their product line so much that we've decided to begin selling some of their awesome original creations in a new section of our website, Body Care. There you will find one of the best lip balms that has ever graced your lips, a remarkable skin healing balm for even the burliest of dry hands, and a variety of cold process soaps that will gently wash everything away except for a bad attitude. All come together to form a perfect suite of care products for after a long day working with your beehives, caring for horses in the barn or spending time with your family outside in nature.

With The Little Flower Soap Co., you can rest assured knowing you are putting the nothing but the finest skin care products on your body. And, as a Martha Stewart American Made 2014 Finalist, clearly some others think their products are pretty incredible as well.
